Custom tags in "untied"

You can create your own custom tags in "untied in the browser" (go to Profile and then you'll see Custom Tags in a tab at the top).

This might be because you want to have greater analysis of your income and expenses, or to track other things.

Some users even use untied to track personal expenses that they reclaim from their employers - in this case you can set up memo tags that are mapped to the personal main tax tag.

Good to know

While we can offer support, take care when setting your tags and mapping them to the main tax tags.

If you are in MTD we will contact you towards the end of a tax year to make sure the mapping is correct for MTD.

If your income from one source of self employment or property exceeds £90k, or if you have multiple self employments set up with HMRC, get in touch as we need to add further main tax tags for you.
