We're a small hands-on company that knows how to build tax software. Basically our team is made up of accountants, software developers, user experience people, and support. More than that, we're friends who help each other.

And want to share that with you through software that's user friendly and powerful.

Since 2018

From the moment we started "untied" in 2018, we had Making Tax Digital in mind - while also making sure it could provide good user experiences for those filing using self assessment (which was a good thing, because MTD was a few years slower to arrive than the initial government announcements suggested).

Whether in self assessment or MTD, we want you to be able to follow the rules, and to reduce the tax you pay, by being an expert in you and not an expert in taxes.

We also wanted to make sure that we offer full coverage of all the income types you need. No product was recognised by HMRC for all income times earlier than "untied". That's why we carry this recognition stamp.

It means "untied" is here to help you manage Making Tax Digital with confidence.

You can use "untied" to be early using MTD with HMRC now, whether you're an individual or an agent.

We're a small, personal company and we don't have deep pockets to provide MTD for free. So our standard pricing applies for MTD, but there are special discounts if you want to be MTD early
