🎥Deleting transactions

If you've have a duplicate, unwanted or incorrect transaction, you can delete it from the transactions list in untied. Deleted transactions are moved to your discarded transactions view, where they can be restored later if needed.

In untied in the browser

1. In untied in the browser, go to Transactions.
2. Locate the transaction(s) you want to delete.
3. Tick the checkbox to the left of the transaction.
4. Select Delete.
5. Confirm by selecting Untag and Discard.

Any tags associated with a tagged transaction will be removed before it is discarded.

The transaction(s) will be moved to discarded transactions.

View discarded transactions

To view transactions you've deleted:

1. Select the menu in the top right corner.
2. Choose View Discarded Transactions.

You'll see a list of all discarded transactions.

Restore a discarded transaction

If you need to recover a deleted transaction:

1. Open View Discarded Transactions.
2. Select the transaction or transactions you want to restore.
3. Select Restore.

The selected transactions will be returned to your active transactions list.

Things to remember

• Deleted transactions are moved to Discarded Transactions rather than being permanently removed.
• You can view discarded transactions at any time from View Discarded Transactions.
• Discarded transactions can be restored if needed.
• Deleting a tagged transaction removes its tags before discarding it.

Deleting (discarding) transactions

To delete a transaction, swipe the transaction to the right and click on the trash icon (in some cases simply swiping will also delete it):

If a transaction has been tagged, you will first need to untag it.  Tap on the transaction and then select 'Untag' or 'Advanced':

Once a transaction has been untagged it can be discarded as described above.

Recovering a discarded transaction in the mobile app

You can recover individual discarded (deleted) transactions in untied.

To do this, on the Money (transactions) tab, tap on the filters in the top right, and choose Discarded items only. Then tap Apply.

This will show any discarded (deleted) transactions.

You will then see your recovered transaction in the listing.
