Requesting a repayment of tax from HMRC in untied

If you have overpaid a small amount of tax and are employed, this will be managed by a change to your tax code.

If you would prefer a repayment or it's a larger amount, you can indicate that a refund is due and include your bank details. This needs to be done via untied Pro in the browser (go to tax filings and file new return) and is not in the mobile app.

If you are an untied lite user, contact us.

Here's how to do it in untied in the browser.

If you have already filed, and you can tick that this is an amendment.

Then scroll down and tick the box that a repayment may be due and add your bank details.

If you prefer, you can request a repayment straight from HMRC. See How do I contact HMRC?
